During Escape the City, the police are at a complete loss. Ten murders have been committed in the city center in a short amount of time. Local detectives have arrested ten suspects—but they can only be held for two hours. The clock is ticking. It’s up to your team to investigate the crime scenes and identify the real killer.

Escape the City is the ideal activity for exploring a city of your choice — from Amsterdam to Den Bosch, and from Zwolle to Leiden. You pick the city, and our Uitjesbazen come to you.

Tip: Choose a larger city to get the most out of the game experience. That said, we’ve developed Escape the City in such a way that it can be played in any location across the Netherlands and Belgium.

At a centrally located meeting point in your chosen city, one of our enthusiastic Uitjesbazen will be ready and waiting to greet you. This meeting spot will be arranged with you in advance.

From there, you’ll dive into the game using our official app. Armed with a suitcase full of witness statements and alibis, your investigative skills will be put to the test. As the game progresses, you’ll uncover more and more details about the crimes. But time is ticking — the suspects can only be held at the police station for two hours. Can your team crack the case before the killer walks free and vanishes into the city?

Our top tip: the time. The goal of any escape room is, of course, to escape before time runs out. But how do you do that? Pay attention to details, work together, communicate clearly, divide tasks, and make the most of each other’s strengths. In other words: let real teambuilding happen.
